A fifth-generation Minnesotan, Nate Richter still fondly remembers spending time on his family’s farms in southeast Minnesota outside of Rochester with his grandfathers and uncles. Like many outdoorsmen, his passion for hunting and fishing started with catching sunnies and crappies with his father, and then following him around the fields, and sitting in duck blinds way before he was old enough to carry a gun.

Nate started taking his Real Estate licensing classes even before he graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a degree in Business and an emphasis in Marketing. As a perfect compliment to Real Estate, he started a career in Financial Planning.


After running successful offices in Denver, Washington DC, and multiple offices in Minnesota, Nate decided to focus his time entirely on Real Estate. His background allows him to take a more holistic approach of how the purchase or sale will affect his clientele’s entire personal and financial situation. It has also given him the knowledge to work with the more intricate details of real estate like Waterfront Properties, 2nd Homes, 1031 Tax Free Land Exchanges, Limited Partnerships, and purchases for investment. John Schumacher, also known as "Chef John, the Game Gourmet," is a life-long hunter and fisherman. Growing up on a small farm in western Minnesota, John is a passionate outdoorsman and worldwide traveler to exotic hunting and fishing locations. John is a regular presenter on a Minnesota based outdoor TV program, and a featured speaker at Safari Club International and Foundation for North American Wild Sheep.

He’s hosted a syndicated outdoor radio program, and been a guest on Minnesota’s KARE11 and Minnesota Public Television. John has been featured in Alaska magazine’s Outdoor Television series, Outdoor Life magazine hunting and fishing videos, the Upland Almanac and the Wall Street Journal.


John regularly supports local chapters of Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, the National Wild Turkey Foundation and the Delta Waterfowl Foundation. John decided to close his renowned Schumacher’s New Prague Hotel and Restaurant after 31 years of operation, and bring the synergy of his personal and professional network, media experience and love of the outdoors together by coming a real estate recreational property specialist and auctioneer.
